On September 14, pianist and songwriter Dan Daly posted a notice on Facebook that Rob Ferri passed away that afternoon. Rob had, for a long time, been suffering from lymphoma.
Rob was chosen as Mr. Fire Island Leather 2010 on May 22 of that year, at the 10th anniversary Mr. Fire Island Leather contest at the Ice Palace in Cherry Grove, and was co-host, with Ariel Sinclair, of the 2014 contest. Rob performed in adult films under the name Collin Stone. He was a veteran of many seasons of Cherry Grove Doctor’s Fund benefit shows. He was featured in a Leather Calendar in 2011.
We will sorely miss our dear friend and leather brother.
