Daniel Nardicio’s Fourth of July weekend underwear party, at the Ice Palace on July 1, was entitled ‘Studio Filthy Whore,’ paying sideways homage to Studio 54, and some of the garb sported reflected the elegance, glitz, hotness and trendiness associated with the Studio in its heyday.
More than 400 celebrators were in attendance, enjoying music by DJ Chuck McTague; dancing on roller skates by Dee Dee Luxe, sporting a diaphanous cape and literally playing with fire—Fourth of July sparklers; and ebony god Corey Corey sizzled even without the aid of sparklers. Princess Diandra was on hand to pay tribute to the already gender-bending Grace Jones.
A nighttime pool party followed and another, at Daniel’s ‘Home for Wayward Boys,’ followed the next afternoon.
