Jacqueline “Jackie” Dupree returned to sing at Cherry’s on June 6, lending her sweetest voice and spirit to such songs as “I kissed a girl, I liked it,” with fine high notes; “Get This Party Started;” “Womanizer;” and “Million Dollar Bill,” her favorite Whitney Houston song. Kevin Hammond served as DJ.

Jackie’s guest was Milady Uppercrust, who offered “I drove all night,” “I think we’re alone now,” “Dress You Up,” “Sweet Dreams,” and a medley of “Get This Party Started,” “Downtown,” and “Rehab,” interspersed with quotations from “Ab Fab.”

Diva Dupree took the stage again to favor us with “I’m a Barbie Girl in a Barbie World,” singing both Barbie and Ken’s lines; “I just can’t get you out of my head;” “Upside down, inside out;” “Jackie-licious definition;” “Sweetest Hangover;” and “Unbreak My Heart.” She also sang a sexy “Happy Birthday” to this writer.

Jackie Dupree will return to Cherry’s for two dates in July and two in August.
