Sometimes the holidays come so close together. On September 18, no sooner had Yom Kippur ended than it was Christmas at Cherry's at the Bay. Bianca del Rio hosted the festive event, Anthony Leone was Santa Claus, and Petra was an angel. Early Miss Fire Island titleholders Charity and Rita George, reigning Miss FI Sable Scities, and very recent Miss FI Renée Flaming were there, dressed to the nines, as was past Homecoming Queen Cobra. Jason Cozmo assisted Jonathan in dishing out the complimentary turkey, ham, stuffing, vegetables, and sweet potatoes that proprietors Jacqué Piazza and Donna Bianco provided and kitchen staff Nicole, Sara, and Lee prepared.
September 25 will bring Cherry's Candyland Party, celebrating Jacqué, Ivanna Cocktail, and Jonathan's birthdays; October 2, Kevin Hammond and Mark LeMay's Halloween Party; and October 9, the Survivor's Party.
