Daniel Nardicio helped kick off the Fourth of July holiday weekend with his first underwear extravaganza of the month, at the Ice Palace on July 2. Music was by DJ Aaron Elvis.

Grove guys and Pines guys danced in their underwear and mingled with hot go-go dancers in theirs.

Burlesque's Julie Atlas Muz, Mat Fraser, and Dirty Martini, all well-remembered from last year's "Sealboy & the Blondes" show here, were all there. Julie, who scandalized the overly sensitive with her autoerotic piss scene last July, was now a police officer, raiding the party, armed with doughnuts, a suspicious white powder and a gun, and stripping out of her uniform.

"Valley of the Dolls" was the theme of this underwear party. Invitations came in the form of a vial of "dolls"-actually Good 'n' Plenty-prescribed by "Dr." Nardicio. And Gusty Winds was on hand, as Helen Lawson, to perform "I'll Plant My Own Tree."

Daniel's underwear parties take place every Friday at 11:30 p.m. Clothes check is mandatory and there is a $10 cover charge.
