An eclectic mix of leathermen, including Messrs. Fire Island Leather 2004 Jeff Goodman, making his season debut, and 2001, this writer; bears; fabulous queens Demi-Tasse, a former New York Empress, Ginger Moore, a former Miss Fire Island, and Ivanna Cocktail, a former Cherry Grove Homecoming Queen; and guys from the Pines attended Daniel Nardicio's June 11 Underwear Party at the Ice Palace at the Grove Hotel. The parties take place every Friday at 11:30 p.m. and there is no cover charge for the remaining ones in June. In July, pay $10 at the door or, if you mention Just Us Boys, just $5.

Another real deal this month is the Grove Hotel's June weekday special, $40 for a room per night on Mondays through Thursdays, with a two-night minimum required. For reservations and further information, telephone the hotel office at 631/597-6600.
