In the wake of a successful 34th annual Fourth of July Invasion of the Pines, it is worth a reminder that Invasion founder Thom "Panzi" Hansen has been designated one of the four Grovites to receive the Cherry Grove Community Association, Inc.'s (CGCAI) Community Honors for 2009 at the organization's August 15 event. The other honorees are Bobbie Green, Doreen Rallo, and David Bullock.
The four award recipients will be saluted at Heaven 'n' Earth, Two Bayview Walk at Ivy Walk, from 6 to 9 p.m. on that evening, and dinner and cocktails will be served.
