This Is Shequida & dance contest winners

On June 1, singer Shequida made her seasonal return to the Ice Palace, where she presides over a couple of hours of controlled chaos, late on Monday nights, with Chuck as DJ. Shequida attracted a varied, boisterous crowd for her opening night, which included party-giver Daniel Nardicio, Pines DJ Lina, Logan Hardcore, and a pink pig named Peter. The latter was part of a colorful group in the front row, which prompted the diva to comment, "The circus must be in town."
To cheers and sparklers, Shequida made an initial entrance disguised as a cleaning lady, pushing a broom, but soon abandoned that garb to become, once more, the glamour girl we know and love. She sang "Luck, Be a Lady Tonight" as "Fuck, I'm a Lady Tonight (sorta, sorta)," and serenaded Sicilian Ray, Brian's boyfriend, with "Let's Fall in Love," which she followed up with her own special version of "Doncha (wish your girlfriend was hung like me?)"
The evening's vocal pièce de résistance, however, was when Shequida lent her Juilliard-trained soprano to "Nessun dorma," the tenor aria from Giacomo Puccini's "Turandot," and to the theme from "Star Trek," as a vocalise. Her encore was "Private Dancer," sung as "(I'm your) Tranny Singer."
Shequida presented, as guest performers, energetic young singing-and-dancing duo Jerome and Devon, and Big Kim doing a Madonna number ("Please don't stop the music"). Our heroine also conducted a dance contest-with prizes from Nickel, the spa on West 14th Street in Manhattan-which was won by Tony, a young Latino, not at all shy about showing off a muscular chest.
