The climax of the Arts Project of Cherry Grove's (APCG) season was its gala FantaSea ball, at the Ice Palace on September 27. Harold Seeley designed the ball's setting, a fabulous sea scene, and Furci Food catered the delicious dinner. DJ Chuck was responsible for the music.

Homecoming Queen Margo presented APCG's Community Service awards to Denise Harbin and Alison Brackman, in absentia, and to Chris and Eileen Alley, who were present. Margo also served as Mistress of Ceremonies for a lively costume contest and winners of the $500 prize were Lola and James as a fantastic mermaid-and-merman duo.
In a short show, Bella voiced determination to "bring the good times back" and rule the sea; Margo serenaded the community with "Somewhere beyond the sea" and invited those in attendance to slow dance; and Demi-Tasse offered "I will survive" as one who lived through a shipwreck, complete with life preserver around her neck.
