According to American Cancer Society Director of Distinguished Events Dawn M. Tropeano, the proceeds will help fund research concerning prostate cancer as a disease affecting gay men. The fundraiser included a show, which Dan Daly, at the keyboard, and Richard Bell, the MC, opened with an original song, by Dan, about Johnny Pool. Assisted by Dan, Tides bartender Adam sang "Can't Help Loving That Man of Mine." Dreamgirl Coco Love worked the room and went into total meltdown (deliberately) during "And I Am Telling You I Am not Going." "Give me you," Donna Piranha demanded, in her love song. Celeste, singing to a Latin rhythm, invited, bilingually, "Sway with Me," and followed up with "All That Jazz," from "Chicago."
