On June 23, the day before the huge 38th annual LGBT Pride March in New York City, Cherry Grove held its ninth annual small, but festive Pride Parade around downtown Grove. Amelia Migliaccio and Paul Jablonski, assisted by Denise Harbin, organized it; Bob "Rose" Levine coordinated the line of march; Bill "Billie Ann Miller" LaMonica was Person of the Year; and SallyAnn Piacentino was the Not So Grand Marshal.
Mr. Fire Island Leather 2007 Diego Vargas escorted Homecoming Queen 2007 Lola Galore, backed by this writer and Joe Saporito, Messrs. FI Leather 2001 and 2005 respectively, carrying the leather pride flag.
Denise, carrying a "Bursting with Pride" sign, headed a rainbow lesbian contingent, consisting of Amelia, Linda Dickerman and Barbara Hirsch, Lyn Belensky and Pat Wagnis, Lynne Tunderman, and SallyAnn. Archbishop of Cherry Grove Harold Seeley was there in his miter. Paul, Wendy Lewis, Anna Tirado and Roland Michely were flag bearers.

Billy Ann rode on the Jumping Jack's Seafood Shack float. Jacqué Piazza, Donna Bianco, Ginger Snapp, Aurora Stone, Hiram Rivera, and Mark LeMay made up the Cherry's contingent. Grove Hotel/Ice Palace staff, including Isaac Steven Vaughan, Sal Piro, Ariel Sinclair and Martina Sky, wore gold in honor of the hotel's 50th anniversary. The men of Belvedere sported togas. Uma Assburns, the new Miss Drag Attack, rode the Sunsets float, driven by Paul Parente. The Fire Island and Long Island Gay and Lesbian Film Festivals' Stephen J. Flynn and Michael Mulvaney marched. The Cherry Grove Fire Department, Cherry Grove Pizza, and the Tides had floats as well.
